Find My Airfare

Find My Airfare Newsletter - June 2008
Edition 1
Welcome to the first edition of the Find My Airfare newsletter! This newsletter brings you the latest travel news and features travel products each month to broaden your horizons. Suggestions are welcome on what you want to see in future editions of this newsletter.

This month we bring you a Finnair airfare, which a number of Find My Airfare customers have already been introduced to. This airfare provides an affordable way to visit Europe, even during peak periods (although availability is limited).

Airfare of the Month

In conjuction with:Qantas British Airways Cathay Pacific
Japan Airlines Malev
Destinations:Amsterdam, Budapest, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Geneva, Helsinki, London, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna, Zurich and many others

The inaugural Airfare of the Month is the Finnair Australia to Europe return airfare. The fare starts at $1689 (subject to availability) plus taxes and is available all year round. As Finnair does not fly to Australia, Finnair has combined with its oneworld partners for this incredibly cheap airfare. Fly with Qantas, British Airways, Cathay Pacific or Japan Airlines to one of Finnair's Asian destinations. From there connect to a Finnair flight to anywhere in Finnair's extensive European network via Helsinki.

Finnair's Asian destinations include Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai and Bangkok. Note that travel via Japan is permitted in 1 direction only.

Possible itineraries include:
Sydney - Mumbai - Helsinki - London - Helsinki - Shanghai - Sydney
Melbourne - Hong Kong - Helsinki - Frankfurt - Helsinki - Bangkok - Melbourne
Brisbane - Tokyo - Helsinki - Paris - Helsinki - Hong Kong - Brisbane

As Finnair is part of oneworld, Qantas Frequent Flyer members can earn points at the rate of 1 point for every mile flown with Finnair.

Next month: Around-the-world for less than $3000
